7 Steps to help you with your business website Search Engine Optimization

  1. Page Titles need to be distinct and match the content on the page

  2. Page content needs to be reader-friendly but still optimized. You cannot just stack the page with SEO content phrases, images, and videos. Don’t try to hide with CSS or Javascript; search engines are more intelligent.

  3. Internal linking helps rank your business website. External links to higher reputation website pages help in networking scoring.

  4. Images with proper ALT and TITLE tags can help the reader and are often missed in SEO. Also, make sure the image matches the alt, title, page content, and page title. Images are scanned and checked for accuracy.

  5. Videos with closed captions can help with your SEO and page analytic increases, precisely average time on page.

  6. URL Slug matching page title and content.

  7. Review and update content, adding Original Date Publish and Updated Date to content. Reviews help with canonical linking, plus the refreshed content means you are updating your website.
